"good enough to have re-sharpened (now I have two)" 2009-01-26
By Philip G. Aro (San Francisco)
I bought my first Freud Thin Kerf blade eight years ago when we remodeled (our newly purchased Victorian disaster) before we could move in. I used it for both trim work and basic construction on my Makita portable table saw with folding base - these bases/guides are the other thing that makes portable saws worth it. It served for years beyond that for both furniture and home improvement projects. I finally had to get the blade sharpened or replaced - so instead of waiting around for the saw works to finish, I ordered a new one from Amazon. The old blade is now back and ready for use, dipped around the cutting edge in removable protective plastic. I may replace the Makita some day, but the blades are definitely going on the new saw.

"Great blade for underpowered saw" 2008-10-08
By 2005bravodelta (TN)
I tried this blade upon urging from a cabinet maker. The blade cuts great and has extended the use of my "antique" table saw. I used it on a project with tigerwood which is hard and dense. The blade performed flawlessly. This is a great blade for the weekend project kind of folks.

 "Great Blade!" 2008-06-24

Bought this to replace the Craftsman blade that came with the miter saw and was amazed at the difference. Miter cuts that I used to really have a problem with matching up now are near perfect. Very satisfied with this purchase!

 "I like this blade" 2008-02-27
By D. W. Scudder (Hamilton, Ohio USA)
Never purchased what I could call a top-of-the-line blade for my 2.5HP Craftsman 10" table saw until this one. I crosscut 3/4" red oak and was so impressed with the smooth wood surface. Hardly any bog down, not to mention the low volume of saw dust produced. The thin kerf and teflon coating must be adding to this affect.

This is the best blade I have ever owned, but since this is my first professional blade, I can't give it a 5 star rating, although it could very well be that. Very pleased!

"Smooth cuts all the way" 2007-09-13
By Bas
This blade produces some exceptionally smooth cuts. I've used it in both my table saw and miter saw, and can't ask for much more. No jagged edges, no saw marks, no tearing. Even with my underpowered, direct drive table saw cuts come out clean.

Is it better than a Forrest Woodworker? No idea, never used one. It is definitely better than the stock blade you get with the saw. I also got the Freud 24T ripping blade. Together, I can get my table saw to actually cut wood.
