 "Limited applications" 2009-12-13
By couillion (south louisiana)
There are several rust prevention products available, and Boeshield has worked as advertised, but with limitations in areas with high humidity. In the shop, I've used "Boeshield T-9" on cast iron and unprotected steel tools. Saw tables, drill press tables, grinder tool rests, radial arm saw support tube, clamp screws and bars, squares and saw blades. The best results with Boeshield alone have been on the small tools, clamps, chisels and combination squares. The next best result was a drill press table, cleaned and wiped with Boeshield and then a coat of paste wax. I'm not convinced that it is any better -or - worse than J&J Paste Wax alone on larger flat surfaces like a saw blade or cast iron saw table. If you don't inspect or use your tools regularly, it may not be for you. Once Boeshield is applied and dry, it is tough to remove. If any rust has started, you'll have a mess cleaning it back down to bare metal again. If you're not sure whether this is the way to go, satisfy yourself with it on a small tool or saw blade first. Follow the instructions on "Rust Free" and "Blade & Bit Cleaner" to clean the surfaces you want to protect, then apply Boeshield. I cut the bottom 2" inches from a 5 gallon bucket to clean saw blades and small tools in.

"Milwaukee Tools the best there is at this price." 2009-09-07
By S. Howes (USA)
I own a large selection of Milwaukee tools and a few Hilti tools. IMO, getting Milwaukee products are like getting Hilti products for a little less money. However, if you work in punishing, demanding conditions everyday, all day, then Hilti may be the way to go for the very long haul. For 90%, Milwaukee is a good bet

"One of the two died" 2009-06-27
By John Samadi (Florida)
I had two of these, both look like new as I lightly use them. One died. The other still working. Manufacturer's defect is the only reason I can think of.

 "Cordless battery" 2009-06-15
By Arthur T. Pierce Jr. (North Carolina USA)
Batteries are as good as they make. I own several cordless tools and found the milwaukee to me the easiest on batteries. Dewalt seems to last on a average of 6 to 8 months, where Milwaukee seems to last nearly 18 months before needing replacement. I use mine alot so your results may very. The new Ion technology is promsing and I hope in the next 5 years to see batteries that will last extend periods of time without quiting

"Milwaukee 18v replacement battery packs" 2008-12-24
By M. Wilbert (USA)
The batteries seem to work as the originals. The price of the two pack is much cheaper then purchasing them separately at your local home improvement stores.

 "Steady performers" 2008-12-22
By Bradley O. Hudson
These batteries are steady performers and help to give my 18 Volt tools "second-life" after the factory original batteries wore out.
