These blades do a great job cutting, been using them to cut panels out of a plywood wall that needed rotting areas removed and then replaced. They can reach into areas that none of my other tools could work in. Just be sure to avoid any nails or screws or they will quickly ware down, use the metal/wood blades for those items. Also if you do wear the teeth off the blade, use your dremel rotary tool to sharpen the front/sides of the blade and use it as a scraper.

Been using this blade for longer cuts in plywood, use the other wood blades for plunge and corner cuts. One thing 'bad' about these blades is that the attacment area is not indented and you can not use the whole width of the blade for cutting.

This is the best price I have found. I would prefer to buy them in larger lots at a still lower unit cost.



Unfortunately, as with the other Multimax blades, the cost exceeds what is reasonable for the material, packaging, and shipping, but when one company has a monopoly you have few choices. I expected a longer life for the teeth, but there is no competitor (yet) making a superior product.



However, when you have a critical need for this tool -- limited space, minimal dust, precision of cut -- the cost is not the issue. My Multimax has paid for itself -- and even the expensive blades -- by saving me time.

A good product, but in the fine print is the warning that this blade is only for NON-FERROUS metal (i.e., no iron, no steel, and definitely no stainless). This blade should more properly be called Wood and Brass Flush Cut Blade. Again, if brass is your object, this is a good blade. If you hope to cut nails, fuhgeddaboudit!

 "Excellent for drywall, OK for soft wood" 2009-09-19

This is an excellent blade for cutting drywall -- quick clean cuts and a minimum of dust. I used it extensivly when cutting out damaged sections of drywall for replacement. It leaves a very clean edge so you can fit in the new section neatly and hide the seams. Also used it to cut thin sheets of plastic (1/4 inch) and it did a great job with smooth clean edges. Just don't force the tool -- with any MultiMax cuts, take it slow and steady and you'll be happy with the results.



I've also used it on wood and it's a decent performer for light-weight jobs and softwoods. The 3/4 inch wood/metal blade is better suited for tougher wood cutting tasks, but this will do the job (albeit slower). Less expensive than the other wood blades, which is a plus.
