I replaced a worn 80-Tooth Tenryu blade that came with my used Bosch Sliding Compound Miter Saw 5412L1 and I'm glad I did. The first cut was as smooth as a baby's butt. I've been too busy to use it much, so I have no feedback on longevity. I don't regret the purchase and I highly recommend it for those do-it-yourselfers like myself. I've got alot of projects planned and I'm confident the broad spectrum ability of this blade will work for my deck build as well as crown molding here in the near future. I'll update with more feedback when I've put it through its paces.

I use this blade primarily for framing. I have it in a Dewalt DW708 scms. Cuts fast + clean and lasts a long time. For cutting 2x pine studs, plates, blocks, etc.- this is the blade you want. Also the picture they show is different than the blade I received. On the blade I was sent the hook angle of the teeth is less aggressive and the gullet's are not as deep.

Love these blades. Sawzalls are usually used in spots where other saws that will cut straighter and smoother can't reach. Because of this you don't want to spend all day in this awkward spot. I have never been so pleased with my saw using these blades. They last longer and cut so well that it's like using a completely different saw. I just installed a larger window in an existing wall. I cut through several studs with nails on a wall attached to plywood. Each stud took less than a minute, I cut straight and left the plywood undamaged. Buy these blades!

I've been using these blades for around 5 years. These are fantastic, durable demo blades. They will chew through wood or steel. Unlike a previous reviwer, I find these blades are very easy to do plunge cuts with. They won't bend if you run the tip into something (unlike most similar blades). While doing residential demo work, I have litterally plunge cut into a wall and cut through the entire wall..removing it in a single piece. The only thing they won't cut is masonry/stone.



I can't say enough good about these blades. They have saved me lots of time and many headaches.

I bought a package of these blades to use to help cut the roots on a stump of a tree in my yard. The good news is that the stump is out. The bad it took 2 blades to do the trick. Ice hardened or not, the blades don't cut rocks. The teeth are still there but they are not sharp. These blades have a 5 year warranty, but I don't see how they'd last that long... Back to my story, when I hit a small rock, sparks flew, dirt spewed, roots still cut though.



Anyway I have a 12amp sawzall with a variable speed orbital cut (1 + 1/8th) and the sawzall was up to the job. Given these blades, there is not much that will stop you.



The nice thing is that these blades did not bend, or bind. If you are pruning, I'd go for the pruning blades though rather than these. And they are a little big on the tip & long for a plunge cut into a 2x4 without drilling a hole to start.

A great quality tool for the price (despite the "Made in China" label). Tho light in weight, it's very sturdy. This pint size combination bow saw has been perfect for a variety of small jobs - from tree limbs to metallic tubing. The safety hand guard, combined with the cushion end grips that were on my saw, will make for more comfortable work. Keeping extra blades on hand is important so note that a replacement 12" wood blade may be difficult to source. The well known big and small hardware chain stores (as of this writing) don't seem to carry them. However, Amazon does have 1 or more sources. (Search - 12" bow saw blade) As an extra note, given the portable size and durable versatility of this bow saw, I find it a perfect and essential tool to include with camping gear and particularly with any emergency disaster pack. My pack won't be without one.

This is a well made saw that should make for a good multi-purpose tool. I was looking for a highly portable bow saw to carry with my machete on sessions to cut invasive vines from trees in thick brush in local urban forests. The saw had to be compact, light, durable, and fast cutting - able to handle vines up to 6" thick. The saw I received has served extremely well in these regards, ripping through like a hot knife through butter and barely noticeable when not in use. The saw I received was even better than the one pictured, having a shock absorbing handle on both ends, not just one. Easy to clean, too.

These long blades cut through anything it seems and don't dull very fast either. In making a treehouse, I cut through trees, plywood, nails, 2x4s, treated 4x4 - all quickly and safely. I used the same blade the whole time - it never broke despite my bending it in akward positions while cutting and still seemed shard at the end.

Every need to cut through a thick beam or reach that nail in a tight spot? This blade is great! I was a little skeptical at fist because the blade was so long but it is surprisingly sturdy. I have cut items that were hard to reach with just the tip with excellent control. I have also cut thick beams using the entire length of the blade without it getting bogged down. It is a great blade to keep in your case for those special projects.

The LU91R012 is a very good all around trim blade for all soft and hard wood trim. It works especially well with sliding miter saws. The thin kerf is a must for fine trim cuts and I wouldn't buy a blade without a perma-shield coating. I've been building custom homes for 25yrs. and know saw blades.

I was looking for a great blade for my new Milwaukee 6955-20 Miter Saw (Amazing Saw by the way), and had tried a Freud Diablo, which cost around $75. It made a terrible noise, and cut a little rough, so I contacted Diablo (they said it sounded like the blade had a tension flaw) and I returned it. This Forrest blade arrived today to replace it, and WOW, what a blade. I made several cuts in plywood, and there was almost NO splintering on top or bottom, and the cut itself was smooth as glass. It works beautifully in the Milwaukee, and I'll hopefully never buy another blade that's not a Forrest - I'm hooked. Having finished framing a room, I wanted a better quality of cut for the trim. I replaced the 60 tooth Bosch OEM blade that came on my 12 sliding compound miter saw with the 80-tooth Forrest Chopmaster. The cuts are glass-smooth, with no tearout. You can see and feel the difference between the Forrest blade's results and the cuts with the OEM saw, even though Bosch supplies a pretty good blade for framing. The Chopmaster was expensive enough to make me think twice about this vs. a Freud blade, but all the reviews have been very positive. Now I can see why.
