Television adds make this sound like a real work horse but it is really only good for small jobs where you need a tool to get into tight corners or are doing small scale construction products. Does not have the power to really work on big projects. I will still use it but recommend a heavy grinder if that is your application.

I tried to use this diamond saw to cut out mortar around a brick. It barely made a scratch in the mortar. I ended up using an angled grinder with a diamond saw blade which cut through like butter!! I wouldn't recommend this for anything! What a waste of money.

I purchased this item to cut/notch a ceramic floor tile replacement piece when the original piece had cracked. The diamond coated blade worked to cut out the grout around the original tile, but did not do the job to cut/notch the replacement ceramic floor tile as it was advertised to do.
