Good blade for the price. Used in a 10" Rigid contractor's table saw, produces smooth rips and crosscuts in poplar, pine, MDF, and red oak with minimal tear out. Definitely cleaner than OEM Rigid blade, closs to Freud/Rigid topline blades if you don't force the cut and take your time. Would definitely buy again.

 "Blades break too soon" 2009-09-11

I purchased two of these blades. They are used only to cut very thin plastic. I was very careful in installing and adjusting the blades. I'm been around machine shops for over 40 years. I'm not new to adjusting bandsaws.



The first blade lasted maybe a total of 30 minutes of cutting. The second blade didn't last 10 minutes.



Other blades on the same saw have absolutely no problem. I have yet to have another blade break.



As with most bandsaw blades, these blades broke at the weld. My suspicion is that the weld was not annealed properly.



The blades cut very well while they last. They run very quiet and produce a smooth cut. Although we were cutting only straight cuts, I'm sure the narrow, 1/8" blade would allow some intricate cutting.

I have found the Morse brand bandsaw blades to work better than the OEM blades that came with the saw. They appear to last longer, and to not fail as easily, as the OEM blades.

Of all the saw blades I have purchased, this is certinly one of them. It looks like a saw blade, it feels like a saw blade and it cuts like a saw blade, it must be a saw blade. However, I didn't tasted it. It did arrive quickly. It came in a very nice brown padded mailing envelope. I saved the envelope for wrapping Christmas presents this year. I only wish the blade would come in colors other then steel. I think a green blade might be nice.



This is an odd sized blade and I was very happy to find one.

 "Vinyl siding blade" 2009-11-12

This blade works well for cutting vinyl siding.... it was able to cut thru the siding without cracks or shattering. I bought it to help with an addition and all of the cuts were to siding still on the house. I am about to side the new addition and have no doubt that this blade will make the cuts I need to complete this siding job... how well it works in colder weather is questionable but I think any cut in cold weather can be tricky.

I used this to cut 1/2" Lexan for some windows- overall it did a great job, I did notice it took some bites but I don't know if this was the blade or my saw (powermatic 66). Cut finish was decent, and it didn't splinter or crack at all. With the cost of lexan I thought it prudent to get an appropriate blade, this one worked well.

This blade rocks and was well worth the price. I use abs plastic and plexiglass quite frequently and I can honestly say that this blade is far superior vs. even my thin kerf 80 or 60 tooth freud blades. I used 1 inch thick lexan for its first test, no chipping it left very small fine shavings instead of little plexi chips. It is a very quiet blade as well. Overall I am very impressed with this product.

These are great for cutting softer woods and plywood. Don't use them on hard woods like maple because the teeth will deteriorate quickly. If you need to cut hardwoods use the 1" wide blades, they are much better. Fein makes good products but they must think that we are all rich like they must be. Their prices are way too high. Soon there will be others that will interchange and the prices will come down. In the meantime we will keep making them rich.

I agree with others, these precision blades dull quickly and are very fragile. I broke off the last 10 teeth or so on each end after about 5 minutes trimming pine molding. Pretty ridiculous, especially considering the quite high price tag. Get the standard blades, they last longer.
